Pa Pa Face and Popcorn Video's

I love eating popcorn! My dad makes popcorn almost every night and I have learned that heavenly aroma that fills the kitchen (or the nasty one if it's in the microwave a tad too long!). Dad has tried to teach me how to say the word popcorn....and he's how it comes out... (but I was eating popcorn chicken here).

And then the next video is me making my Pa Pa Face!!!

Monkeybear's Diaper Change

Pamper's mailed my family a size Newborn diaper...which is just barely too small for my baby brother Jude. So Mom gave me the diaper to put on my doll. At the time, I couldn't find my baby doll, so I grabbed Monkeybear and layed him on the floor in front of me.
And then I opened up the diaper and pulled the tabs like what my parents do to my diaper. And then I grabbed Monkeybear's two legs and lifted his rear end up to place the diaper under him!
Little did I know, my mom was in the next room watching my every move and taking photos. I was so busy changing Monkeybear, I didn't notice her stiffling her laughter either. After I got the diaper on Monkeybear, I carried him around for a while. A few hours later, Mom was changing Jude's diaper in the bedroom. So I decided it was time to change Monkeybear as well. So I took his diaper off, waded it up in a ball, carried it down the hall to the bedroom. I passed Mom changing Jude's diaper and put Monkeybear's dirty diaper in the Diaper Champ and turned the handle!! When Mom heard the noise, she freaked out, wondering what I just threw away. When she opened the Diaper Champ and saw the waded up Newborn diaper, she laughed until she cried!

"Miiiiile"

Every day I am learning new words. But I'm also learning new tricks, too. For instance.....that black thing that goes "click" well, when I see it, I know to say "Miiiiiiile" (aka smile) and I have my fake camera smile already!

Big Girl Little Swing

My little brother has a swing my parents got at a garage sale. He enjoys it so much, so one morning I decided I would try it out. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about... And I love the swings outside, so I thought I might like this indoor swing, even though I am way too big for it. So I climbed in it and reached around the side and turned it on. My mom walked in the kitchen and started laughing so hard she started to cry. She was laughing so much, all the photos she took are blurry because she couldn't hold her hands steady. I don't understand why it was so funny....

The long road ahead....

Hmmmm.....I'm just starting to try and figure out this enigma...

Visiting Pa Pa

I was so kvelled to see Pa Pa when we went to the hospital to visit him. I had missed him dearly! And we spent all weekend visiting him. I think he was just as excited to see us too. Jude and I were both dressed up in our October best!
His little onsie even glows in the dark! Mom tried to take a photo, but it didn't turn out...

Monkey See, Monkey Do!

I'm becoming quite the little mimic. I want to do and try everything I see the adults do. In the morning, I even want to put on deodorant and makeup like mommy! And I love to help with tasks around the house - stuff like emptying the dishwasher. I hand my parents the silverware, one piece at a time and I just love it! My newest favorite task, helping give Jude his bottle!
Each time I see them preparing a bottle, I climb up on the couch and I want to help hold the bottle. So the other day, Mom wanted to see if I could help a lot...so she let me give Jude the entire bottle! I was so proud of myself! (Don't worry, Mom was never more than two inches away - taking about 50 pictures...) I am not so sure Jude enjoyed it as much as me though...
Worst part about it....when the bottle was empty, I was trying to pull my legs out from underneath me since I was sitting on them funny. I'm not exactly sure exactly what happened next, but somehow I ended up flat on my back on the floor!!!! I fell off the couch!! And I knocked the wind out of me, it scared me so much! My parents cuddled me and calmed me down. And then about thirty minutes later, I was sitting on the couch again. And the strangest thing happened...I fell off again!!! Twice in one day! No one is as clumsy as palmary me!

Dinnertime Napper

As you may or maynot know, I'm not much of an afternoon napper. In fact, I have pretty much cut out all naps. But that has it's drawbacks.... Right around dinnertime I tend to get really sleepy. Sometimes I slug through it and then get my second wind until it's time to go to bed, but other times I give in to temptation and end up falling asleep in strange places.....including my highchair.

Hanging with the Browns

On my friend's blog links, you might have noticed a link for Olivia's blog and for Malachi's blog. They are they daughter and son of some of my parent's college friends Amy and Austin. Malachi was just born! But he got sick and had to come visit Children's Mercy Hospital, even though they live a whole state away! We were going to go visit them, but the hospital wouldn't let me or my brother go in to visit him. Olivia was up North staying with her grandparents, and my house happened to be a good midpoint for them to meet when Malachi was okay to go home, so they all met up at my house! I liked it, because I wanted to play with Olivia. I wanted to hold Malachi like I hold Jude, but Malachi is so much younger than Jude I got scared and couldn't do it. But I loved looking at him!
And then Olivia wanted to meet Ophelia. So I introduced the two gals with the O names. And then Olivia and I played with all my toys while all the adults played with the two baby boys. I like Olivia! I wish she lived closer so I could play with her all the time. But my mom told me next summer I would get to spend some time with Olivia at the lake cabin! Yeah! I can't wait!!

Pray for Pa Pa

Please keep my Pa Pa in your prayers. Last Thursday evening he was admitted to the hospital. Downstairs is lonely without him! I crawl down the stairs and yell out "Pa Pa!" but the recliner is empty. He's not there!! It's lonely.... And I'm sure he's lonely at the hospital without me around. So all weekend I spent time with him in his hospital room. The nurses all said he was always more happy when I was in the room cheering him up. I'll try to post some photos this week; I have a few of my friend Olivia and I playing, as well as some in the hospital with Pa Pa.

Beeeeeeeeeee

I was once broke of needing my binky, but after my brother came along and I saw him with one - I reverted. And so now I will repeat, "Beeeeeeeeee" until someone comes and gives me a binky... But sometimes when I say "Beeeeeeeeee" I mean for my blankie. Somehow my parents always know which one I want...

Summersaulting Touchdown!

I have two video's I want to share with you... The first one I got to practice some last weekend and hopefully will this weekend, too, as some of the local college teams have big games! It's my TOUCHDOWN! video! Yes, that's me saying TOUCHDOWN!

And my second video is me showing off my mad summersaulting skills! I just learned how to do a summersault and I love doing them, even if they aren't straight most of the time! (my mother pleads with me to ask you to forgive the messy living room - with two kids she claims she doesn't have as much time to clean anymore...)
