My Dad was holding me a few weeks ago and I heard him whisper something to Mom. At first Mom looked shocked, then sad. And then finally she agreed. I wondered what they were talking about. But soon enough, I found out. I was to get my FIRST EVER HAIRCUT!!! You see, I really don't have that much hair. It's really thin and growing in pretty uneven. The front is pretty short still, and it's straight. But the back is actually pretty long, but very curly. When you stretch out the curls, they go halfway down my back! I think I heard Dad say that horrible word....Mullet. So it was time to cut off the Mullet. So off to Sheer Madness we headed. It's this hair salon that specializes in children's hair cuts. Instead of barber chairs, you sit in cars or airplaines or train cars. I choose the Cinderella car. And they play a movie on a TV in front of you!
I was so engrossed in "Shrek" I don't think I realized she was cutting my hair!
She cut several inches off the back and just trimmed up my bangs in front...
And VOILA!!! Look how pretty I look now!!! I have a cute bob, with just a few layers in back to keep the curls looking full. Mom and Dad both say my hair looks thicker suddenly!
And when it was time to go, I didn't want to! I wanted to stay and play in that car more and see more movie!
Mom said she was proud of herself for not crying.......Strange Mom.

my neice has the raddest baby mullet. my sister and i decided that they are only cute on babies...and make for sweet pigtails. but alas, i'm glad you de-mulletted your child. :)
i love that store too-i took my older neice for her birthday to get the "princess do"...they do sparkly make up and spray sparkles in your hair after they curl it and put it up...and then you get a sweet crown too! i suggest it for when she gets older if she's into that at ALL! :)
