GOOD MORNING! I'm ready for another day out on the lake!! This time I'm sporting a lovely two piece bikini that my Grammy got me for Easter. I'm ready to go!
My mom wanted to get a few photos of me in the new swimsuit (go figure), so she was carrying me down to the water's edge to scout a good spot. Just above the rock wall is a nice grassy knoll (not to be confused with the one in Dallas - no second shooter here). Well, moments before Mom was getting ready to lay me down in the soft grass, movement caught her eye. Quickly glancing down just before laying me down, she saw the horror of her life...A SNAKE!! And it was RIGHT where she was going to lay me down inches from her bare foot!! She screamed (I'm not kidding) and ran about ten feet away. Dad was standing over on the dock with the camera and just had to laugh at my mom... You see, this was just your average run of the mill black snake, just barely 2-3 feet long. Dad showed his power over the beast by walking towards it, by which it proceeded to slither into it's home in the rock wall. Mom was still freaked out for a bit to lay me down in the bare grass, hence the towel...
If Dad can beat a snake, so can I! Bring it on Mr. Snake!
After a few hours or so of swimming, I think God turned the water tempature down on me or something. I started to shiver in the water, and thankfully the old people got the hint. Luckily, Grammy was close by with a warm towel to snuggle me in!
Looks like I was the only cold one! After swimming a bit, Peanut decided to work on her tan in the warm sunbeams on the dock.

This is Olivia's grandma Brown. I'm glad that Livi put your name on her blog as a favorite, because now I can see all the wonderful pictures your mommy takes of you. Okay not all of them! But, she is an awesome picture taker and what better subject could she have but you. I know, Livi, calls me a "photo nut" and everyone thinks there could not be another baby in this world that has more pictures of them self, than Livi. (I have a breifcase that I carry with me that has nothing but Livi pictures in it. Those stupid brag books are worthless. You can't get but a few pictures in them and it's just to hard to pick which ones to put in them. So a briefcase is the perfect thing, because you carry them all with you.)But they don't know your mommy and you. I think your mommy and I could share the title of "photo nut". But we only do it because we love you guys so much!!! and your both the most awesome subjects to photograph in the world!!!
Anyway the real reason I'm sending this comment was to tell you that I love the orange swimsuit. (They love it now, but wait till your 15 and want to wear one. Bet your Dad will go with you and carry a big stick.)I love all the awesome pictures (that is the ones with you in them). And I'm really glad that Livi has you on her blog.
