First Photo Shoot

First photo shoot in a line of many I am sure. I guess that is what happens when you have a mother like mine. She does photography as a side job. Greeeeeeeeeat. I think that camera is always going to be in my face for the rest of my life.
On the day of my first photo shoot, February 5th, at one week old, it was literally maybe 20 degrees outside. And what does my mom do? She gets me naked for photos. No wonder I was crying in 3/4ths of them. I don't know what she was thinking. Grandpa Jim was right there between shots to throw a blanket over me, otherwise I think I would have caught pneumonia or scarlet fever.

Grandma Paulette gathered two of my new blankets some of her friends from the RV park had made for me and we wrapped them over Mom's Boppy pillow. First off, that really messed me up. Whenever Mom pulls out the Boppy, that means it's time to EAT! So I got all excited, even if I was naked. But I layed there on that Boppy for 30 minutes, and the closest thing I got was these silly popcorn balls on the blankets! Mom deleted the photo where I was actually sucking on it. Here's the closest one to it...
Oh man, don't look too long at that photo, all my fat rolls are showing. But heck, if those older ladies can show theirs in the Dove ads, I guess I can show mine. I will admit, the photo shoot had potential, but I was just so darn cold. I was ready to put up a fight... Here's my Million Dollar Baby shot...
After Mom took about 30 photos, she got several good ones. She was wanting one for my Baby Announcement and for the newspaper. Come to think of it, that newspaper announcment still hasn't run. I want to be famous in the newspaper, so I better have Mom call them to see what the hold up is. If Meyer was working in the newspaper, I bet my photo would have been on the front page the very next day.

Well, after I cried long enough, Grandpa warmed me up with my nice warm pink blanket. I fell asleep because it was so soft and warm under there. Grandpa Paulette snagged one of my roses that my dad's friend Nate gave me and placed it next to me. Good thing she was watching the thorns! Mom snapped this next photo which is one of my personal favorites...

And what do you think happened next? Well, they uncovered me AGAIN. Mom wanted to get a bird's eye photo of me laying down. It's my back Mom, what's so great about that? I guess the ruffles on my butt make up for something, don't they? I'm a sucker for the butt ruffles... I think Meyer is too.
