Anyway, Katee came up to spend some time with me. She was holding me and playing with my peach fuzz hair. We were having a grand ol' time, until I turned my head and guess what I saw? The camera pointed at me. Geez Mom, I think "Sony Cybershot" will be my first words since I see them more than your face.
I finally convinced mom to put the camera away and was able to spend some quality time talking about boys with Katee. Plus she told me she would slip me gum all the time and let me wear makeup when I visit her. I can't wait! Oh crap, mom's going to read this. Um, I mean, Katee will always give me kiwi fruit and have only flavored lip gloss for me to try on.
After some time, we decided to go enjoy the Tea Room in Platte City. We sampled Cinnamon Spice Tea, well, I tried to, but mom wouldn't let me. Katee had a quiche, but everyone else had soup and sandwiches. I enjoyed my time there, but honestly I remember nothing of it, because I slept through it. But as we were leaving, the chocolate covered strawberries at the counter caught Grant Kathy's eye and she stopped to buy them for all of us. As you can see, Katee is a pro already juggling me and her purse. (something mom couldn't do for about another month...)
Anyway, I had to so much fun at the Tea Room, that two weeks later, I begged to go there again with Grandma Marlene and Mom. It was Columbus Day, so half the town of Platte City was in the Tea Room eating that day. I got to meet lots of fun people including my future dentist! Grandma Meani (no she's not mean, but she goes by that name sometimes) shopped in the attached store and bought lots of fun items!
