Wednesday Edition - 11 weeks

Can you beleive I am 11 weeks old today? Hard to imagine isn't it? Seems like time is moving so fast though...wasn't I just born about a week ago? Not 11! Today was an interesting day.... I have my first cold... It's not TOO bad and my mommy has some wonderful friends who have offered wonderful advice! Thanks ladies! But it did mean Mom was sticking that hideous bulb suction torture device up my nose every half hour or so... THANKS LADIES... No exclamation point that time. Mom told me it would be fun, but I caught the duplicitious nature in her voice. (there I go again with my precocious vocabulary!)

Tonight was fun though! Mom and Dad's friends Ryan and Charla came over for dinner. Charla is pregnant right now with another future boyfriend of mine. But I think I like Ryan!! All night I was smiling at him and I just couldn't stop! But he was enjoying all my smiles, so I just kept them coming... Then we all watched "Lost" together! After listening to Damon and Carlton's podcast on ABC.com, they hinted about the death of Charlie - comparing Boone's death in the 17th episode the first season to the possible death of Charlie in this 17th episode of the third season. And when we witnessed Charlie's death in the first few seconds of the show... Well, my eyes were aghast, but deep down I guessed it wasn't true. And of course, I was right. This show can be so inscrutable sometimes. So I just smiled at Ryan again. This is when I need another girl to be born so I can just prate along with her about all these boys in my life...

Speaking of girls.... I hope I am not jumping the gun and announcing something I shouldn't, but MISTY'S HAVING A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah!!! Too bad the family will be returning to the mission field of India after four months. But after she's born in June, I'll have a few months to play with her....
