Easter Time #2

Easter weekend continued.....

Saturday morning, I was pleased to sleep in. Well, technically, I woke up around 5-6am, but mom wasn't ready to get up yet. So she stuffed that silly pacifier in my mouth... That worked for a bit, but I have learned a secret.... If I whimper enough and keep spitting out the pacifier, mom will lean over the bassinet and pull me into bed with her and Dad!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!! Once I get in bed with them, I am instantly quiet... And of course! Their bed is all warm and cozy, I mean, after all, I get to be snuggled between my two favorite people! Then together we all normally sleep in until 10am. By then I typically start to get hungry, so I start to whimper again. If I didn't whimper, I bet the old folks would sleep past ten!! I learned the secret though...get into bed with them! I wish they would let me sleep all night there, but they won't let me. They always put me down in the bassinet. But at least I am close by....

Anyway...that had nothing to do with Easter! Saturday morning, Dad and Gramps worked on the tree outside some more, and I helped the women folk clean up the inside. The big Easter dinner was going to be at my house! But I was most excited for who was arriving at my house any moment....

AUNT LEAH!!!!!!!!!!!

I still had never met my Aunty Leah and I was so excited to finally meet her!! Her and Grandma were driving down from Iowa to celebrate with me... And I had a feeling they were bringing presents....

Leah arrived and instantly picked me up!!!!!!! Oh, I love her already!!! She has red hair, too!! For the next several hours, I played so much with Grandma and Aunt Leah. We played so hard, we had to take a nap together.....

After napping, we decided to go out to eat before going to Saturday night church! Aunty Leah even played with me in the car!! We ate some yummy food at Ghangis Khan, then drove up to church. I was even awake the whole time! Near the end of church, I got the hiccups, so Mom took me out in the foyer where we watched the end of the sermon on the TV's...

Saturday was ending, but I knew the big Easter Sunday was the next day.........

I forgot to mention something.... I am VERY MAD at my mother. On Friday, she took me to the doctor... They gave me SHOTS!!!!!!!!!! I cried so hard, I was so mad at my mom for putting me through it. A woman never reveals her weight, but I'll whisper it here, because I'm sure some of you want to know. I'm 11 pounds and 3 ounces now, and I'm 23 inches long. For those of you keeping score, I'm in the 75% for both. Now, I was slightly concerned about being on the fast track to obesity since my percentile for weight was above average, but my doctor said since I am above average for height as well, that I am perfectly fine. Maybe it's time to go hit that play gym again.....
